Regardless of the payment method chosen, we require credit card details to secure a booking. Following your initial enquiry we will contact you to ask for this information verbally. Credit card handling fee is 2.9%
CANCELLATION POLICY As a small accommodation provider, cancellations affect us significantly, therefore we adhere to a strict cancellation policies In the event of cancellation 48 hours prior to arrival 50% of your booking fee's and charges will be charged to your credit card. For non-arrival's the full booking fees and charges will be charged to your credit card. I f cancellation advise is 7 days prior to arrival a full refund will be processed immediately however some banks may take up to 7 days for the refund to appear back into your account
SMOKING POLICY No smoking in your room Ashtrays are provided outside of you room If any evidence of smoking is detected in your room, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee. This will be $100 or one night’s accommodation if the room is unable to be sold the following night as part of the decontamination process
NO PETS PLEASE You are not permitted to bring pets with you to our lodge. Please find alternative “holiday accommodation” for your pets.
COOKING POLICY Our rooms provide guests with full kitchen facilities. We ask that you please be considerate of foods you prepare in your room. Cooking foods that are highly odorous or aromatic and/or that infuse into the surroundings (surfaces, carpets, bedding, and curtains) usually require a time consuming and extensive cleaning process, in addition to the normal cleaning procedures. The foods that are most problematic are many seafoods, some spices and food that has been burnt. A Gas bbq has been provided outside of your room for these foods.
Note: if highly aromatic cooking smells remain after you vacate your room that cannot be removed with normal cleaning there will be an extra cleaning fee charged to your credit card. At the very least, this will be equivalent to one night’s accommodation, but may be more if all surfaces and fabrics within the room require extensive deodorising treatments, or the room is unable to be sold for more than one night

Property damage It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all of Brook Lodge’s property is left in the same working order as it was on arrival. Additional charges will apply if any property requires additional cleaning, needs repair or replacement, or results in the loss of sales, as a result of the guest staying (this includes visitors of the guest to the property)
